Analysis:
Burks is a great scorer with a wirey frame much like Kevin Martin of the Houston Rockets. He has the ability to get hot from the field and knock down a handful of three’s and can get to the hoop with regularity. He has a deep array of offensive moves which allow him to score from anywhere on the court. As a freshman Burks was a talented enough scorer to enter the draft, but chose to stay and build his all-around game. Thus far, he has improved statistically, but is shooting a lower percentage. Burks is easily a first round talent, could be in the lottery with a great season.
