Analysis:

At the beginning of the season most wrote off Connecticut and Walker. All they have done since then is knock off the then No2 team in the country and have been led by Walker’s string five games of at least 29 points (42 verse Vermont). Walker has channeled his inner Allen Iverson and put the average Huskies on his back for the start of a potentially magical ride. His quickness and ability to get the the basket has been a marvel to watch. Walker’s newfound ability to find his teammates as well have made him the hardest player in the country to guard. If his scoring doesn’t slow down, Walker may play his way into a Top 10 pick.
