Irving is a true point guard in a world of athletic scoring point guards. He has command of the floor and sets up others to score as his first option. Very quick with the ball, Irving finds himself in a scoring position a lot of times. That is when he can become counter-productive; one season at Duke should help him learn how to balance his skills to be a great point guard. While he is not flashy, Irving will show the promise of being a pass-first and heady point guard ready to run an NBA team right away.
