Analysis:
Thompson has yet to blow anyone away with his game early on, but he hasn’t played bad either. He is an interesting prospect in the aspect that he has great length while undersized and can do almost anything on offense. He doesn’t dominate in any one aspect and is not very explosive as an athlete. Thompson can be a very productive scorer on the high post against slow bigs, on the block against smaller bigs and meshes with a team very well. A deep tournament run is what Thompson is going to need to get in the lottery, but he could also benefit from another year on campus.
