Shooting is what gets Jenkins acclaim, but he is a talented basketball player in general. He is a great shooter that can hit his shot in any scenario or situation. Off the ball he moves through the offense great using picks and screens as well as any. When catches the ball he has the ability to put the ball down and attack the basket. He is not an elite athlete, but can make athletic plays.

This year Jenkins had a target on his back after leading the SEC in scoring as a sophomore. He has responded by leading the conference in scoring again this year and shooting the ball at even higher percentages. His progression was in his biggest strength, but his two biggest weaknesses – play-making and defending – those are still exactly that, weaknesses.

Jenkins is easily one of the best shooters I have seen in college in recent memory. His problem is that he is limited outside of shooting. This year was his chance to prove he can be a Stephen Curry type player that is unconventional as a point guard, but so far he has not done that.
