Taylor is a terrific athlete for his position with speed, quickness, and explosiveness. He has shown the ability to run an offense, but has also struggled with turnovers over the course of his career. On defense Taylor can play 90 feet pressuring the ball and is solid matching up against other point guards.
This season Taylor is almost alone in the backcourt and has responded with a career year offensively. He is shooting the ball terrific from three and scoring at a high rate.
As a point guard Taylor definitely has his ups and downs, but has played a relatively solid season. He has the athleticism and size for the next level, but needs to work on his decision-making still, as a senior. His scoring instincts and athleticism should be enough to get his named called on draft day, mid-second round.
