Thomas is a great athlete from the wing with explosiveness and strength. He is a quality rebounder and defender, improving on both of those this season. On offense he is limited, but can get to the paint and finish in transition.
In the limited action he saw the season was hit or miss. A few good games and a few rough outings.
It was up-and-down during the 16 games he played before the injury this season for Thomas. He was playing well on defense and had flashes on offense, but is far from a finished product. Another year at Memphis is on the horizon. He needs to work this hard on his shooting to make him a well-rounded prospect because the talent is there on defense and in pure athleticism.
