For a shooting guard Hardaway Jr. has great size and is built for the NBA today. He has a really good offensive game that is started by his threat to shoot the ball from deep. From there he is a quality ball-handler and can get to the paint against the average defender.

Lots of regression this year for Hardaway Jr. Last year he came out on fire and really turned himself into a prospect. This season he has looked very passive and even lost on offense. Without the ball he just stands there without a lot of movement, which has defined his game this season.

This season has been a let-down for Hardaway Jr. after a promising freshman year. Hardaway Jr. is a talented scorer and can be a big time scorer at any level. His passiveness has hurt his overall game though and playing with a pure point guard has halted his offense. Today his stock is as low as it can get, either another year in college or a great NCAA Tournament is needed for Hardaway Jr. to even be considered as a first round pick.
