Devin Ebanks

Selected No. 43 by the Los Angeles Lakers

College: West Virginia
Birthday: 10/28/89
NBA Position: Small Forward
Class: Sophomore
Ht: 6-9
Wt: 215
Hometown: Long Island City, NY
High School: St. Thomas More
NBA Comparison: Hakim Warrick

Strengths: Super long and athletic. Coordinated and smooth. Soft hands. Good rebounder, quick hops. Good touch around the hoop. Capable passer. Good defender but relies on length. Solid FT% gives hope to his shooting stroke. Likes to get out on the fast break and is capable of dunking in traffic.

Weaknesses: Not a lot of skills. Not a high percentage shooter. Does not move without the ball. Falls asleep at times and tends to have a lethargic demeanor. Needs to add at least 30 pounds to be an effective NBA player. No range on his jumper. Poor dribble and decision-maker. Not strong with the ball. Will not beat anyone off the dribble. Relies heavily on his right hand. Reportedly suspended first three games of the season for academic reasons and injured his wrist in a fistfight with teammate.
